Transformational Travel Alliance Criteria

The Ecuadorian Transformational Travel Alliance Criteria and performance indicators (TTA Criteria) serve as the standard for transformation in travel and tourism. The Criteria are used for awareness-raising, policy-making, measurement and evaluation, as a key step for planning and management, and as a basis for the TTA Award.

The ETTA is preparing a collaborative review process of the Criteria and performance indicators, based on prior work and experience of the Transformational Travel Council. The aim of this review is to adapt to global challenges through the inclusion of additional standards especially related to the future of tourism and with the purpose to approach to tourism value chain development with the objective of creating more and better jobs.

The Criteria revision will take into account the ISEAL's Credibility Principles which provide a set of common values that all sustainability systems and tools should share so we can achieve similar ambitions and contribute to social and environmental impacts.
